Folsom Lake College men's soccer crushed Napa Valley 7-0 on Saturday, Sept. 12, improving to 4-0 on the season.

The Falcons have outscored opponents 18-0 across four games and have not allowed a goal all year, according to the team's athletics page. Seven different players scored in the rout.

Dylan Kayley opened the scoring in the fourth minute off a Theo Barnum assist. Hamid Safi made it 2-0 in the 16th minute, again set up by Barnum. Jaber Sereis added an unassisted goal in the 35th minute to send Folsom Lake into halftime up 3-0.

The second half was more of the same. Jesus Herrera scored in the 57th minute, assisted by Khodadad Panahi. Three minutes later, Barnum found the net himself. Travis Russell added a goal in the 76th minute off a Sereis assist, and Safi completed his brace in the 81st minute, assisted by Russell, to cap the scoring.

Safi leads the Falcons with four goals on the season. Sereis paces the team in total points with two goals and three assists through four games. Goalkeeper Jarom Rivera recorded the shutout against Napa Valley.

The 4-0 start began with a 2-0 road win over Foothill College, where goalkeeper Diego Martinez went the full 90 minutes for the clean sheet, according to the team's season-opener recap. Folsom Lake then beat Lake Tahoe 4-0 on the road Friday, Sept. 4, with Eric Ramirez, Kayley, Panahi and Safi all scoring. Goalkeepers Rivera and Josue Rico split time in that game and combined for the shutout.

The Falcons topped De Anza 5-0 at home on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Cruz Garcia scored twice, Juan Maldonado added a goal, and Martinez earned his second shutout in net.

Folsom Lake hosts West Valley on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m., looking to extend its shutout streak before conference play begins.
