Folsom High School sent a wrestler to the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Masters tournament in every weight class during the 2025-26 season, a first in program history.

The Bulldogs qualified all 14 wrestlers for Masters, according to the program's honors page. That total set a new program record, surpassing the previous high in a category the school tracks alongside its all-time marks for state champions, state qualifiers and league titles.

The milestone capped a season in which Folsom also produced two Masters champions and seven state qualifiers. The team finished fourth overall at the Masters tournament, matching program finishes from 1967 and 2006.

Kingston Cruzat led the way at 106 pounds. Cruzat won the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters title at that weight and went on to place seventh at the CIF State Championships, according to a San Francisco State athletics announcement listing his credentials. The program's honors page lists Cruzat as Folsom's all-time team member at 106 pounds.

Orion Hill earned the other Masters championship for Folsom, winning at 138 pounds. Hill placed sixth at the CIF State Championships and was a returning Masters champion after winning the 132-pound title in 2025.

Several other Bulldogs posted deep postseason runs. N. Cruzat reached the Masters finals. Kai Yi-Berg, listed as a two-time state qualifier and two-time Masters finalist, also reached the Masters finals.

Kayden Hoang, a two-time CIF state qualifier and three-time Masters placer, was a Masters finalist as well. L. Hara and A. Cruz also qualified for state.

Four members of the 2025-26 squad have moved on to wrestle at San Francisco State. Cruzat (125 pounds), Cruz (133 pounds), Yi-Berg (141 pounds) and Hoang (165 pounds) were among 13 recruits the Gators announced in June 2026.

The program's roster page labels the 2025-26 team "history making, record breaking." The 14 weight classes that sent qualifiers to Masters ranged from 106 pounds to 285 pounds.

Folsom competes in the Sierra Foothill League and won the league wrestling title in 2025, the program's third SFL championship after 2015 and 2019.
