Folsom police are investigating a pattern of thefts at a store on the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard, with items stolen on three dates in September.
The Folsom Police Department's Tuesday, Sept. 29 log shows unknown suspects stole from the store on Sept. 1, Sept. 13 and Sept. 15. The department logged the grand theft investigation at 4:16 p.m. Sept. 29. The log does not identify the store, describe the stolen items or estimate their value.
The same block of Folsom Boulevard appeared in the department's Sept. 26 log, when suspects smashed a vehicle window and stole $1,000 worth of items. That was a separate incident from the store thefts.
Purse stolen, credit cards used
At 12:36 p.m. Sept. 29, someone stole a purse from the 800 block of East Bidwell Street. The purse contained credit cards, medication and other items, according to the log.
The credit cards were later used fraudulently. No suspect information was available.
Four arrested
Folsom police logged four arrests on Sept. 29:
- A 39-year-old West Sacramento man was arrested at 10:36 a.m. on the 1100 block of Penrod Way on suspicion of receiving stolen property under Penal Code Section 496(a), a charge that can be filed as a misdemeanor or felony. He was booked at Sacramento County Jail.
- A 40-year-old Citrus Heights man was arrested at 11:03 a.m. on the 700 block of Sutter Street on suspicion of public intoxication under Penal Code Section 647(f), a misdemeanor. He was booked at Sacramento County Jail.
- A 57-year-old Folsom woman was arrested at 6:36 p.m. on the 400 block of Wales Drive on suspicion of domestic battery under Penal Code Section 243(e)(1), a misdemeanor. She was booked at Sacramento County Jail.
- A 48-year-old man listed as having no permanent address was arrested at 6:36 p.m. on the 200 block of Placerville Road on outstanding warrants and booked at Sacramento County Jail.
Vehicle vandalism
At 8:44 a.m., someone smashed a vehicle window on the 1700 block of Cavitt Drive.
No suspect description was available.
