Folsom Lake College women's soccer has scored 35 goals and allowed none through 12 games, building a 10-0-2 record at the midseason mark.

The Falcons entered Big 8 Conference play at 9-0 after a perfect non-conference run that included wins over Fresno City College and Bakersfield College. They outscored opponents 31-0 in their eight games played on the field during that stretch, with one additional win by forfeit. Three conference games have produced a 1-0-2 mark, with draws against Sierra College and Santa Rosa Junior College, according to a midseason report from FLC Athletics published Sunday, Oct. 11.

"Scoring 35 goals while allowing zero is something we're extremely proud of," head coach Donny Ribaudo said. "It speaks to our ability to compete on both sides of the ball and the collective commitment of our entire team."

Freshman forward Jada Ardoin leads the attack with eight goals in 11 appearances. Through non-conference play, three of those were game-winners, according to a Sept. 28 FLC Athletics report. Sophomore forward Lucy Miller paces the team in total points with 18, on seven goals and four assists.

The contributions run deep. Savannah Jones has four goals. Libby Portillo and Jaden DeWald each have three goals and an assist. Maylina Ruiz has added three assists from midfield.

Two newcomers have locked down starting roles. Freshman defender Sienna Pierre has started 10 of 11 matches and scored a goal. Sophomore midfielder Angelina Conant has started 10 of 11 matches and supplied three assists.

Goalkeepers LJ Rogers, Lola Ballard and Hailey Yates have shared duties in net, according to the Sept. 28 report. No opponent has scored.

Ribaudo said the team frames setbacks as chances to reflect and adjust, a philosophy he calls "failing forward." He also emphasizes disciplined habits around sleep, nutrition, recovery and injury prevention, along with balancing academics and athletics.

The program reached the 2025 3C2A State Final Four and has won seven conference titles since its founding in 2013, including four Big 8 championships as of November 2024. Another conference title is the stated goal for 2026.

Ribaudo said the Falcons will give themselves a chance to accomplish something special if they keep growing and stay connected through the challenges ahead.

The Falcons' women's soccer schedule shows conference games Tuesday, Oct. 13, Friday, Oct. 16, Friday, Oct. 23 and Tuesday, Oct. 27.
