Cameron Park Physical Therapy Center picked up two Readers' Choice awards in Style Magazine's October 2026 El Dorado County Foothills edition.

Owner Steven Harrity was named Best Physical Therapist, and the practice was recognized as one of the Best Physical Therapy Practices in El Dorado County, according to a Style Magazine listing published Wednesday, Sept. 23. The clinic, at 1060 Camerado Drive, said in the listing that it has earned recognition for 15 years.

That claim carries some ambiguity. In the 2025 edition of the same awards, Cameron Park Physical Therapy placed third in both the Best Physical Therapist and Best Physical Therapy Practice categories. Whether the clinic's 15-year streak refers to top finishes, placements at any rank or nominations is not clear from available records.

Harrity established the practice in Cameron Park in 1990, according to a Mountain Democrat profile published in December 2025. He told the Mountain Democrat he saw a gap in rehabilitation services in El Dorado County early in his career.

"I just really appreciate my staff and the people that have been with us for a long time," Harrity said in the December 2025 profile. "It's a very fun environment working together as a team and having the support of one another that makes us a really well-oiled machine."

The clinic operates out of a 5,000-square-foot facility, the Mountain Democrat reported. Services include gym programs, senior fitness and balance classes, fall prevention, sports training, lymphedema care, massage therapy and Parkinson's programs.

Office manager Shanea Tucker, in the same profile, said Harrity has built a strong reputation among patients and doctors in El Dorado County.

The clinic's Style Magazine listing also noted the practice has been open for more than 26 years. That figure does not align with the 1990 founding date reported by the Mountain Democrat. The discrepancy could not be resolved from public records.
