A suspect brandished a weapon and fled with cash during a robbery on the 100 block of Manseau Drive on Monday, Sept. 7, according to the Folsom Police Department's daily log.

The victim had arranged to meet an unknown person to buy a cell phone, the log states. After the victim handed over cash, the suspect displayed a weapon and took off. The log does not specify what type of weapon was involved. No arrest has been reported.

$16,000 in jewelry stolen from Plum Creek Court home

At 12:53 p.m., someone forced entry through a rear sliding door at a home on the 600 block of Plum Creek Court and stole several pieces of jewelry. The estimated loss was $16,000, according to the log. No suspect description was provided.

Two Sacramento men arrested on McCarthy Way

At 6:31 p.m., Folsom officers contacted two Sacramento men on the 3100 block of McCarthy Way.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, bringing contraband into a jail or prison, and receiving stolen property. A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy to commit a crime. Both were booked at Sacramento County Jail.

Other Sept. 7 incidents

A 27-year-old Sacramento man was arrested on the 300 block of Wool Street at 6:09 p.m. on suspicion of public intoxication and booked at Sacramento County Jail.

On the 200 block of Iron Point Road, someone broke into a vehicle at 7:26 a.m. and stole credit cards and identification. The stolen credit cards were later used fraudulently, the log states. The log does not indicate where the fraudulent charges occurred or their dollar amount.

A license plate was stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of Luna Circle sometime between Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. The theft was reported Sept. 7.

At 12:23 a.m., someone threw eggs at a home and cars on the 1000 block of Galston Way, then threw lit fireworks at the garage, causing damage.
