Relove Consignment in Folsom has won Best Consignment Store in the Style Magazine Readers Choice Awards for the eighth year in a row.

The results, published Monday, Sept. 21, put the women-owned secondhand shop at 1300 East Bidwell St., Suite 125, back on top of the category. Owner Rachel Maskell has built a loyal following since taking over the store, which was previously called ReLoveIt.

The streak is now at eight.

Maskell told Style Magazine in an August profile that she got into resale after moving back to Northern California around 2019. She had been selling secondhand goods online and at pop-up shops when her husband spotted the brick-and-mortar store for sale. One detail sealed the deal: the previous owner's name was also Rachel.

"Those moments when people say, 'I've been looking all over for this' … it fills me with such joy that these items get to be 're-loved' again," Maskell said in that August feature, describing what keeps her in the business.

The shop carries brands such as Kate Spade, Free People and Anthropologie alongside vintage dresses and one-of-a-kind finds, according to its website. Maskell said in the same profile that customers come looking for good deals and pieces they cannot find at conventional retailers.

Relove also topped the consignment category in the 2025 Style Magazine awards, finishing ahead of FreeStyle Clothing Exchange and Renaissance Fine Consignment. Voters must be at least 18 and cast ballots in a minimum of 10 categories within the same region for their picks to count, according to the awards' FAQ.

The shop's 2026 listing also carries a "15 Years Won!" notation alongside the eight-consecutive-year claim. Style Magazine did not explain how the two figures relate, and it is unclear whether the larger number reflects wins under the store's prior name or across multiple award categories.
