Two Folsom High Schools rank in top 25 locally
Two Folsom-Cordova Unified School District high schools made the top 25 locally according to Niche, a website that does rankings of local cities and neighborhoods. The report looked at schools from nearby counties including Sacramento, Sutter, Placer, Amador, Yolo, Solano, and parts of El Dorado County. The list did not include Oak Ridge High School.
In the
report, Niche used a combination of SAT & ACT scores (60% of the total score), along with other factors such as teacher performance, and surveys from students and parents. Full list of the factors and their weight in the

Each school was given a grade based on several factors including, academics, clubs and activities, administration, food, diversity, college prep, health and safety, sports, resources and facilities.
Folsom High School came in at #3 and
Vista Del Lago at #8. Other high ranking local schools included Granite Bay at #2 and Rocklin High School at #7.
