The Folsom Police Department is investigating an incident in the 700 block of King Way that left two men dead. According to police, the incident happened around 3:20 pm. Police responded to calls of shots fired in the area.
Responding officers located two males with apparent gun shot wounds. One man was deceased and the other taken to the hospital where he died in route as a result of his injuries. Initial investigations point towards a possible domestic disturbance as the cause. Folsom detectives are investigating the scene.
The Sacramento County Coroner will release the names of the deceased. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Folsom Police Department.
