On Friday, May 12th, at approximately 6:10 AM, Folsom Police Dispatch received a 911 call from an employee at the Raley’s Aisle 1 Gas Station who reported a robbery that just occurred. Folsom Police Officers responded to the scene and checked the surrounding area for the suspect but were unsuccessful in locating him.
The suspect was described as white male adult wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, white shoes, and had a black mask covering his face. The suspect also had what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband.
After the robbery, the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. He rode away from the store on his skateboard to an awaiting vehicle nearby. There is no description of the vehicle at this time.
Ofc. M. Jones, who was the primary responding officer for the incident, stated, “We are asking for the public’s help in trying to identify this man. Finding him is our primary goal especially since there may have been a gun involved during the robbery.”
