Home sales in the Folsom/El Dorado Hills area fell sharply in March when compared to 2016, down over 31%. In March 2016, there were 181 homes sold compared to 124 this year. Days on the market for homes sold dropped from 43 in 2016 to 33 in 2017. The median home price rose from $529,900 last March to $537,500 this March. The lack of inventory has caused homes to receive multiple offers. The numbers indicate we are still in a sellers market at this time according to local Realtors. There are currently 204 homes listed as pending sale.
